Bobbie: Randy & Bobbie, I wanted to tell you what a good time I had and how much fun my trip to the Holy Lands was. My only regret is that I put the trip off so long! After 22 years in law enforcement and my years in the Homicide Division I didn't see any real purpose of putting myself in harm's way. It took my Mom ten years and a lot of urging to convince me that the trip was safe enough for the vacation of a life time. This was mine and my wife's first trip to Egypt and the Holy Lands and my Mom's fourth. Once I arrived overseas I started to realize that the not only did the local people want our tourist business but they actually liked us. During the 18 day adventure I felt at ease at all of the many locations that we visited. To have visited so many places where Jesus and the Disciples had been helped me see the familiar Bible stories in "color". It's still hard to believe that I was there and I have already used many of the experiences in my Sunday school class. I know this won't be my last trip and I'm looking forward to getting together with both you and Randy in the next year or so. If any of your potential travelers has reservations about the safety of the trip I would be happy to speak with them as both a fellow traveler and as someone who has worked with a large law enforcement Agency for many years. Our people were just thrilled with the trip. You two did an outstanding job. You are great hosts and we would highly recommend your Holyland Tours to anyone. It was such a meaningful trip to our people. I have enjoyed hearing their reports, and their different points of view. There was not one.....no, not one complaint. Thank you for the awesome tour of Israel and Egypt. The price was great. The food was better than you had described. Meals by the Sea of Galilee were priceless. Dining by the Nile River had no comparison. All were great. Malcolm the tour guide made the Holy Land come alive as we walked in the steps of Jesus. The God was with us at the Garden Tomb and our small worship service there. No experience in life can prepare one for a walk in the Holy Land. The scripture came so alive after this tour and my faith has been lifted up. It is an experience of a life time. Thank you again for the marvelous tour. Stan |

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for a wonderful and exciting pilgrimage to the Holyland. From the very beginning you were an answer to prayer for my group and I. We conceived in our hearts that we wanted to go to the Holyland and we were motivated by the scripture "We walk by faith not by sight" and that's how it happened for us. First we prayed for a tour group that would be reasonably priced and when God answered that prayer through you, your price was so affordable that I immediately went back into prayer as I wanted to be sure this was not a hoax. Your price was several hundred dollars cheaper than your lowest competitor. I quickly found out that you were true blue and you worked with our group the whole way through. You made suggestions, you answered questions and you were always readily available. You even provided me with a toll free number so my calls were always at no charge to me. When unrest broke out and people started getting a little fearful about traveling over to Israel you were able to reassure any of my group that called you and you were very comforting and concerned. Finally we were on our way and things just proceeded to get better. In doing my own internal math, I figured out that if we were to have arranged this trip ourselves and paid for our airfare, our hotel, our meals, our tours, and entrance into the various sites we would have paid three times what it actually cost us. Thank God for you Pastor Randy and my group and I have been so blessed by traveling with you that we are ready to do it again. This was our first but definitely not our last. I just wanted to let you know my daughter, and I are home from our recent trip to Greece and Israel. I wanted to thank you for putting up with us inexperienced travelers. I know we called and e-mailed you a lot. It turned out wonderfully. All of the flights went well with no lost luggage. In fact, everything was absolutely great. It was the experience of a life-time and has changed our lives. Our escort, Greg, was fabulous and took great care of us. The people in our group were great and we made wonderful new friends. A group of us got together each night and had devotional time reading scriptures from what we saw that day. Our Israel tour guide, Margolit Levy, was the best and we'll never forget her. I really don't have words to tell you about our time in Israel. Margolit made every thing so special. She sang us songs in Hebrew, taught us Hebrew songs, as well as some phrases. The time on the Sea of Galilee was incredible. On the second day in Israel, after being baptized in the Jordan River, we were heading into Jerusalem for the first time at about dusk. The sun was sitting and Margolit played a song, The Holy City (about a dream of Jerusalem). As she played it, we saw the city for the first time. We all begin singing. It was a moving and emotional time. She taught us a beautiful praise song in Hebrew that we sang often. One day in Jerusalem, we went to a beautiful chapel (St. Anne's) that has wonderful acoustics. We sat there and she (Jewish) led us (protestants) in that beautiful praise song (in Hebrew) in that beautiful chapel (Catholic). Again, it was so moving. I thought of the verse that says in Him there is neither Jew or Gentile…. There were so many moments that we will never forget. The Lord's supper at the Garden Tomb. Masada. The Dead Sea… I would encourage every Christian to try to make this trip. I know that my daughter and I are already planning our SECOND trip in about two more years…and our husbands have agreed to go with us. We can't wait.
